Everything Is Temporary

This year I’ve wandered all over the place. In search of what? Transcendence? What does this word transcendence really mean to me? A dance that is transitory?

From Sierra Leone, West Africa to Hastings, England and myriad locations inbetween. Today I shed another layer of dead skin. Tomorrow will I notice the difference? Everything is temporary.

These pictures tell the story of some of the places I’ve visited this year.

  1. I learned a long time ago that there is no security, just when you think you are secure, safe from destruction, safe from ruin, safe from heartache, it can come at you from another direction you were not expecting. The only thing we can depend on is change. I don’t know if there is way to prepare for the inevitable change that will happen, but you can derive comfort from the knowledge that you know it is coming your way. That is something you know–it is not the unknown. It can be good thing. Thanks Shelley!

    1. Thank you Celie Ann for your sharing your wisdom. You were the one who opened my eyes to Krishnamurti. I will always be grateful to you for showing me the path. My thanks again. Shelley!
