Opening scene. Journey on foot. A series of shots. Verdi’s Messa da Requiem fades in, overlapping for a brief moment with a ghost image. The scene freezes; Opening credits roll and scene fades to black. The Requiem continues an audible transition to the second scene.

It’s a collage of freeze frames. Inter-titles in the style of 1970s album covers. Soundbites from old newsreel, classic hip hop flyers, advertisements for running shoes. Re-runs of the Batman and Robin TV series with Adam somebody intercut with Bruce Lee’s kung-fu series. Repeated phrases cut together with random radio loops and samples.
