Weekly Photo Challenge: Converge

Photos are visual spaces where shapes and lines, objects, and people come together. The palm of her hand flies up to the sky.

Along the way, they also force the concrete and the abstract to converge: objects and landscapes are still themselves, yet already a little more (and a little less) than what I’d initially seen in them.

    1. Janet, thank you so much for your kind words. It’s been a challenging year with the passing over of key loved ones. One day at a time has taken on a new layer of meaning. Being part of this incredible community is one way to quicken the healing and shed the skin of grieving.

  1. You are so right, each photo contains the literal along with the metaphysical, the concrete with the abstract. I love the hand opening towards the sky, as if she is giving her cares over to the universe because they are too heavy to bear alone…

    1. Truly you are Beauty Along the Road. Your interpretation bring a depth of understanding that I cannot put into words. Would love to create with you one fine day. Perhaps a collaborative blogpost? Blessings to you dear friend. m
